Learning Objective

Students will:

  • Generate original ideas grounded in personal experience

  • Frame novel, open-ended questions

  • Design a concept (story, product, or scenario) that AI can support but not originate

  • Reflect on the difference between generating and refining ideas

    Duration: 1-2 class periods


Essential Question

What does it mean to create something that only a human could originate?


Materials
  • Student notebooks or digital docs

  • Optional: AI tool (ChatGPT or similar)

  • Prompt handout (teacher-created) - SEE BELOW
