Purpose

Equip teachers with practical experience in using generative AI tools for formative assessment, while emphasizing the importance of keeping human judgment at the center of teaching and learning.


Learning Outcomes

By the end of this activity, participants will be able to:

  1. Differentiate between formative and summative assessment in the context of AI tools.

  2. Evaluate the strengths and limitations of at least two AI-based formative assessment tools.

  3. Develop strategies for integrating AI feedback into classroom practice without undermining teacher-student interaction.
